This episode just reiterates that I am totally team Rick.
My thoughts are this, everyone in the apocalypse has had to deal with the new world. The way it is. The problem arises we the inhabitants of this world try and hold onto past philosophies.
Eastman is no exception.
While we are happy that Eastman helped Morgan gain his sanity back, what did it ultimately do? It cost him his life.
Morgan will, following this same logic, continue to cost other people their lives as well. People potentially like Rick.
Think about it. If Eastman doesn't save Morgan, Eastman doesn't die. Now, the rehabilitation of Morgan saves Daryl and Aaron, I think Morgan lets some Wolves go, and that costs Alexandria. Who knows what's going to happen with the dude that Morgan is keeping in the house? Ugh.

Let's spend a second talking about Eastman's philosophy. He says all life is precious because he once killed a man and it didn't give him any peace. That he had every right to and that the man was pure evil. Eastman felt at the end of it all, killing the man was not worth it.
However, let's be clear. That was vengeance killing. That's the difference between Rick and the Governor. Rick doesn't kill for vengeance, or sport, or for fun. He kills to protect his son, his own life, and those in his group.
Eastman is holding onto something, a code, a way of life that no longer applies. It's a slightly different take on the same philosophy -- that world is not this world.
In the new world, the Walker world, that gets people killed.

Morgan needs to realize this, and fast. Morgan needed something to hold onto to bring him back from insanity and his guilt over not doing the necessary thing. That necessary thing, killing his zombie wife, cost him his son.
Morgan needs to adjust or the new people he cares for will die.
I look forward to next week.
I don't care if it is silly for Glenn to be under the dumpster. I hope he is there.
Until next week.
