I last reviewed FTWD after watching episode ten. I couldn't bear to post my thoughts after Pablo and Jessica -- it was just too much effort for a show that puts forth so little.
After Pillar of Salt, episode 12, I feel I have to -- just to rid the bad taste in my mouth.

Here is a running list of all the stupid stuff from this show. This excludes, for the most part, just poor writing. You know, like the sudden involvement of Nick and Luciana, Madison's sudden need to know every single piece of Spanish spoken at the cartel warehouse, and wasting electricity to make ice.
1. Madison and Strand -- how do the Walkers not crawl over the top of the bar? They can throw themselves out of windows 10 stories up, but not crawl over a waist high obstacle? (EP11)
2. The timing between Alicia and Madison herding the walkers -- a minute later, Alicia would have been trapped between her heard and Madison's heard. What a terrible plan that worked seamlessly. (EP11)
3. Consistency. We have already seen that the walkers wash up on shore. Why would you lead them off the pier? I get it, the riptide. Yet, guess what? Those walkers are gonna wash right back up. (EP11)
4. Walkers in the water are still dangerous. Remember when Nick and Travis were in the water near the Abigail? We saw them both nearly eaten by walkers. Why leave them in the ocean? (EP11)

5. Madison running through the cartel warehouse demanding to know if they are talking about Nick. Seriously? I get that the show is trying to show how much she loves her son, but this is just moronic. There are other ways to find out this information. (EP 12)
6. Madison turning on the hotel sign. What the shit. (EP 12)
7. Ofelia going after her non-fiancee. This is absurd. She alone has travelled from LA to Mexico. How does she suppose she is going to find him in Santa Fe? Just ridiculous. It's sloppy writing and it is not good enough for me to state "she has to try".
8. No one seems genuinely afraid of the walkers. This one really gets me. It's more like they have a bad cockroach infection or something. They are all so nonchalant. They are concerned about resources and other people, but no one really seems scared of the walkers. They are a nuisance more than anything else. (EP 12)
9. Nick being a genius. I mean, who learns any language that fast? He's been there like a week. The whole show I heard has taken place in less than 30 days.
10. Travis sees the hotel sign. Just stop it. Too much of a coincidence.
