In this week's episode we get to see the witnesses meet up again. Icky has not given up on Abbie, and via a plan devised by Jenny, sends his soul over to find Abbie.
Abbie is looking like she is on the border of going crazy. I loved the toned down fake eyelashes and more natural beauty of Abbie. I loved her curly hair and the fact it was a bit longer. Great way to show the passage of time - for Abbie, more time has passed in her other world than in Icky's world.
Needless to say, Abbie escapes via a tree rope that Betsy Ross left behind (?) and guides Icky's spirit back with her innate awesomeness.
On the flip side, sis and boy-toy are working with the replacement Abbie and sis is none too pleased. They defeat a gargoyle while trying to defeat harboring resentment of each other.
Overall, the gargoyle was good, costume-wise, but the plot was a bit lacking. I get that they were trying to set up this new trio having to work together without Abbie and Icky, but it just didn't work for me. There was a cute nod between boy-toy and sis about Icky's upright, pointy, I have an idea finger. That may have been the only take away from that whole subplot. The Icky finding Abbie plot seemed lacking as well. I don't have above said Icky upright, pointy I have an idea finger idea about why it lacked, it just did.
The show did have a fake-out moment where they tried to elude to the fact Icky would tell Abbie he loved her, but instead it was just in reference to chess.

Ultimately, this was not the best episode. There's not much to comment on and not much to recap.
Until next time!
